Four people were killed in separate road accidents in Faridpur and Mymensingh on Friday.
An ambulance rammed into a rickshaw-van at Tharakanda in Bhanga upazila in Faridpur at about 3am, leaving two passengers dead on the spot.
The deceased were identified as Sirajul Islam, 60, and Shahinur, 40, reports our Faridpur correspondent.
On information, police recovered the body and sent those to Faridpur Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
UNB adds: two people were killed and another was injured as a pick-up van crashed against a tree at Churkhai in Sadar upazila on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway this morning.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Police said the van dashed a tree as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving its three passengers injured critically.
Two of the injured succumbed after they were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
